Blackmagic Design has announced the URSA Cine Immersive 100G, an immersive cinema camera for live production with Apple Immersive Video, and the URSA Cine Live Encoder, a companion processor module. Both will be demonstrated at NAB Show 2026 (Booth N2502). The URSA Cine Immersive 100G is available now for US$26,495; the URSA Cine Immersive (without 100G) is available for US$24,995. The URSA Cine Live Encoder will be available later this year.

URSA Cine Immersive 100G makes it possible, and the images from this camera are just incredible to watch. It truly feels like you've been transported to the middle of the action. From sports to concerts, this opens up an entirely new world in live production!
The URSA Cine Immersive 100G features dual 8Kx8K RGBW sensors with 16 stops of dynamic range and 100G Ethernet output. The RGBW sensor architecture provides equal amounts of red, green, and blue pixels per eye. The camera's data rate runs under 50 Gb/s, allowing two cameras to share a single 100G Ethernet connection.
The URSA Cine Live Encoder compresses live immersive video into Apple ProRes for output as SMPTE 2110-22 IP video, combining the stereo, high frame rate image streams into a single 100G Ethernet connection.
The URSA Cine Immersive 100G was used for Spectrum Front Row, a series of live Lakers games in Apple Immersive Video during the 2025-26 season.
