Studios have just released the first trailer for Joker: Folie Deux. The film is the official follow-up story to the 2019 blockbuster, starring Joaquin Phoenix as the titular character.

The second movie also stars Lady Gaga. Phoenix reprises his role as the insane comic book villain.
Movie rumours have been circulating for years. The first-look trailer has many comic book fans excited already.

Joker: Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix co-star in the second Joker movie, which has been announced as a musical thriller movie.
Jack Napier finds love with Harley Quinn, another character from the classic DC Universe.
The movie makes one big storyline change from previous canon: this time Harley Quinn (played by Lady Gaga) is a fellow mental patient. In the comic books, Quinn is his therapist.

There's no telling how the final movie will be received.
The release happens in October.
Joker: The first movie Joker was first created in 1940.
Joaquin Phoenix took the role in 2019, taking over from other actors to play the crazed psychopath Jack Napier.
Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson have both portrayed the character before.
The second movie continues his origin story.
This time he's in love.
Folie Deux introduces Lady Gaga alongside the jester. Reviews call the movie a musical thriller.
Joker: Folie Deux The franchise's second movie is advertised as a musical thriller movie.
Lady Gaga plays Harley Quinn, a companion of the story's main villain.
It's not the singer's first film or television appearance. Gaga also starred in A Star Is Born and American Horror Story.
Their performances during early screenings have been highly praised. The movie releases in October, 2024.
