Sky Sports and The Fast and the Curious announce new partnership

Sky Sports and The Fast and the Curious have announced a new long-term strategic partnership with the ambition of unlocking new audiences amongst under-35 and female fans as well as increasing commercial opportunities.

The partnership will bring cross-promotional opportunities with collaborative social posts and the inclusion of Fast & Curious content within Sky's digital ecosystem. The Fast and The Curious will promote Sky Sports via a host-read ad in each episode with increased opportunities for both content and talent collaborations.

It forms part of Sky's wider strategy to bolster its leading rights position within digital content with the Fast and Curious podcast allowing the broadcaster to speak to the heart of F1's growing fandom. The partnership will also see Sky Media represent ad sales for The Fast and the Curious.

For regular listeners of The Fast and the Curious podcast, the things they love wont change. Betty, Christian and Greg will continue to bring their unique chemistry, curiosity and passion for Formula 1 to every episode. One of the podcast's calling cards has been to have F1 drivers on as regular co-hosts. Whether it's finding out that Kimi Antonelli was still at school, learning that Ollie Bearman almost committed credit card fraud (the hosts pretended to have him removed from Silverstone by security as a result) or the more serious discussion with Lewis Hamilton about his desire to make sure LGBTQ+ people feel welcomed by the sport, the gang will continue to unearth new sides of the biggest names on the grid.

Greg James, Team Principal of The Fast and the Curious, added: "This is a very large mid-season upgrade! Adding a Sky Sports power unit to our podcast is so exciting. When we started The Fast and the Curious, my aim was to create the kind of Formula 1 podcast I've always wanted to listen to; one that was knowledgeable without being intimidating, entertaining without taking itself too seriously, and welcoming to everyone, particularly new fans who wanted to find their gang. Partnering with Sky Sports gives us the opportunity to build on everything weve created so far while staying true to what makes the podcast special. Sky Sports has been the home of Formula 1 since 2012 and earlier this year announced a new five-year rights agreement meaning the broadcaster remains the exclusive home of the sport in the UK and Ireland until 2034. Since 2012, total viewing has increased by 90 per cent, with under-35s up 120 per cent, and female viewership more than doubling. In the past three seasons alone (2023-2025), viewing has grown by 14 per cent, culminating in a record-breaking 2025 season with 162m viewer hours.

Since launching in 2023, The Fast and the Curious has built a passionate and engaged community by making Formula 1 accessible, entertaining and inclusive. Hosted by Betty Glover, Christian Hewgill and Greg James, the podcast has become known for combining expert insight, exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes access with humour, warmth and genuine curiosity. The result is a show that helps new fans feel at home in Formula 1 while offering established followers a fresh perspective on the sport they love.

The overarching goal of the partnership is to help more people discover and enjoy Formula 1 by combining The Fast and the Curious distinctive editorial voice with Sky Sports world-class Formula 1 coverage and access. The partnership will create further opportunities to tell the stories behind the sport, connect fans with the personalities who shape it and bring listeners closer to the action than ever before.
