At IBC 2014, running from 12 to 16 September in Amsterdam, Red Digital Cinema presents the 6K Red dragon sensor, blurring the line between motion and still cameras, the 6K Red Dragon sensor has over 19 megapixels, a new colour science and a higher dynamic range.

Providing more tactical options for photographers, the reworked Redcine-X Pro provides RAW workflow and features frame tagging, so users can mark and access specific frames while shooting. Another new feature of Redcine-X Pro is A.D.D. (Advanced Dragon Debayer), a new algorithm for Dragon that analyses every pixel to create the most fitting frame.

Also showing in the Red Digital Cinema booth at IBC this year (booth 10.A10), is the RED 3-Axis Control System, a turn-key wireless lens control kit for driving focus, iris and zoom. The REDLINK Bridge a wireless module that allows apps to communicate with the DSMC through the REDLINK Command Protocol (RCP) interfaces with the RED 3-Axis Lens Control System s T.H.C. (Tactical Hand Controller) to control focus and iris on Canon and Nikon lenses. The RED Switchblade-M, a lightweight interface solution that mounts to the side of your EPIC or SCARLET, will also be exhibited.

RED will also be featuring in additional booths this year at IBC, Vizrt will display a real-time 4K immersive graphics system, showing Viz Engine and Viz Virtual Studio integrated with RED and Ncam. Additionally, the Nipros LS-750GT fibre adapter system will facilitate the transmission of compressed and uncompressed 4K video from the 6K Epic Dragon to the RAI Convention Center s main auditorium over fibre-optic cable.

On 13 September from 10h00 to 11h30, RED will be giving their Big Screen Theatre presentation.
