Keynotes and showcases will provide live demonstrations of GenAI in logistics and warehouse automation

Answers to these and other questions will be provided at the platbricks Experience Day on September 16, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Microsoft in Cologne. Arvato Systems invites logistics managers to discover the potential of GenAI and smart warehouse automation in conjunction with the cloud-based logistics platform platbricks - in a practical and interactive way in various demo showcases. Generative AI is no longer just hype - it is developing into a key technology for logistics, says Bernd Jaschinski-Sch rmann, Head of Digital Supply Chain Management & Platform Business at Arvato Systems. Companies are under pressure to improve efficiency, are struggling with a shortage of skilled workers, and are looking for scalable solutions. GenAI simplifies processes, accelerates workflows, and reduces the workload for employees. We see this technology as a completely new operating concept. With our Chat with your Warehouse module, for example, any question about inventory, capacity utilization, or planning can be answered immediately. Knowledge and analyses from best practices are available on demand - without the need for a data science team. At the platbricks Experience Day, we will show how companies can achieve real competitive advantages with practical applications.
Hans-Peter Duve, Project Manager for Corporate Logistics at R+M de Wit, will report first-hand on how the implementation of platbricks Warehouse Management looks in practice. R+M / Suttner has stood for competence and experience in the development and manufacture of high-quality components, spare parts, and accessories for high-pressure cleaners and industrial vacuum cleaners for more than 60 years. By combining wholesale and in-house production, the company offers customized system solutions from a single source.
Another highlight: Together with Cavea and Flowcate, Arvato Systems will present an automated solution for load carriers, and assets such as reusable containers, pallets, and forklifts that provides real-time visibility of inventory. The load carriers are recorded fully automatically - from location to location, from storage location to storage location - and are located with an accuracy of up to one meter, explains Andr Haff, Consultant Digital Supply Chain and Business Development at Arvato Systems. Our joint solution comprises sensor technology, technological integration, and operational execution and control software, thus representing a holistic approach.
In addition to the keynotes and showcases, which invite visitors to try out the technology, the platbricks Experience Day will also offer an exclusive forum for exchange and networking opportunities.
