Award-winning actress, Sannah Mchunu, who plays the role of Zodwa, recently took to her Instagram account to pen a sweet message to Israel Matseke-Zulu, who played the role of Don on Gomora.
--
Mchunu's character, Zodwa, shot and killed Don last Thursday (18 November) after he attempted to end Ntokozo (Ntobeko Shishi) and Melusi's (Zolisa Xaluva) lives.

-- DON IS SIMILAR TO MY HUSBAND' The actress recently revealed in an interview with Daily Sun that she was grateful and blessed to be working alongside Zulu as his character healed her.
She also says Zulu knew what she'd gone through and knew that she pictured her ex-husband when she saw him.
--
She told the publication that Don was similar to her real-life husband who dumped her the same way Don dumped Zodwa on the show.
Most people know that Don's character was very similar to my former husband.
I was married but it ended in tears when my husband dumped me the same way Don dumped Zodwa.
Mchunu says her ex-husband dumped her with their small children, and she was left alone and didn't have closure.
She had many questions to ask her ex-husband, but he was gone, and had an opportunity to ask those questions when Zulu's character was introduced.
--
She also thanks the writer's for allowing her to get closure and vent when she wanted to.
Those who know me could see that I wasn't just acting the script, but it was real tears. Israel helped me to finally heal.
Isn t Bongani tired of Zodwa running back to him whenever Don hurts her? The same woman who chose Don over him many times #gomoramzansi #Gomora pic.twitter.com/J8AgAuEHjy

ISRAEL MATSEKE-ZULU'S EXIT The talented actor revealed that he had to exit Gomora because he is sick and he started getting sick shortly after joining the popular telenovela in September.
The actor stated in the interview that the health condition he's facing is gangrene which has made one of his legs immobile.
The reason I am leaving the show is that I am sick.
I decided to leave the show because I saw it was becoming difficult for me to walk.'
Zulu added that he was using a wheelchair to get on set towards the end of his last scene and the decision to leave the show wasn't easy for him.
Performance is my life, this was one of the hardest decisions that I had to take, but I saw that my health matters the most and I need to recover.
