Deluxe and BT Media and Broadcast announce new global strategic alliance to deliver enhanced software orientated and managed broadcast services

Deluxe Entertainment Services Group Inc. today announced details of a contract with BT Media & Broadcast that will extend the reach of MediaCloud, Deluxes software orientated broadcast platform, utilizing BTs global network connectivity. The alliance is focused on delivering managed channel origination and distribution globally.

Transforming the broadcasting chain from content acquisition through to play-out and delivery, this new alliance will maximize agility, cost effectiveness and resilience, offering broadcasters increased flexibility free of compromise and with the capability to deliver to any platform, anywhere, anytime and in any format.

The solution details

Under the new agreement, Deluxe and BT Media & Broadcast will offer an agile, software-based broadcast playout solution giving broadcasters and content owners an alternative to legacy owned and operated hardware-centric broadcast platforms. In contrast to the complex, expensive and inflexible infrastructures of old, the joint revolutionary solution eliminates the need for large capital investment and refresh, considerably reduces operating cost, and future-proofs the broadcast supply chain - all of which drives flexibility and control back to the broadcaster.
