Fujifilm appoint new Account Manager, Scotland

Fujifilm is a pioneer in diagnostic imaging and information systems for healthcare, with a range of constantly evolving, clinically proven, products and technologies designed to assist medical professionals perform efficiently and effectively. Following continued growth the company has appointed a new Account Manager for Scotland.

Alex Jamieson joined Fujifilm in August 2014 and brings a wealth of experience to his role, having previously been Territory Manager for Gambro for the past 6 years, as well as his early career as a Charge Nurse at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

In addition to his RGN qualification, Alex has a Ph.B from the Gregorian University of Rome.

He said of his recent appointment: "Having spent 6 years at Gambro, first with their Renal Dialysis Division and then their Intensive Care Division, I felt it was time for a new and more challenging role."

Alex continued: "This position at Fujifilm is an exciting step for me, as it gives me the opportunity to bring my experience to a new area within the healthcare arena. Imaging has always fascinated me and I'm really enjoying getting to know the company and its portfolio of products."

Mark van Rossum, General Manager at Fujifilm also commented on Alex's appointment: "Alex has a good mix of knowledge and experience having worked in both clinical and corporate environments. This stands him in good stead to deliver a great service on behalf of Fujifilm throughout Scotland, which is just what we were looking for."
