SURFiR Companion Remote
Representing a revolutionary new concept in control, RTIs SURFiR is a low-cost companion remote designed for use with an iPad , iPhone , iPod touch , or Android device running the RTiPanel app. Providing an affordable alternative to dedicated touchpanel controllers, the SURFiR allows users to incorporate their Apple and Android touchscreen devices as the graphical interface for their control system, while adding the convenience of instant on, tactile control with hard buttons, and eliminating the numerous screen swipes needed for control tasks that require frequent interaction. In addition, SURFiR conveniently keeps track of the device that is being controlled by the smartphone or tablet. This allows users to multitask on their mobile device - checking emails, reading news feeds, and accessing social media apps - while maintaining convenient and intuitive control over their home electronic system. A stylish handheld remote sporting a contemporary look and feel, the SURFiR can be used with any of RTIs XP control processors. The controller requires minimal programming for integrators, lowering overall installation costs and making it simple to integrate into any system.
ESC-2 Ethernet to Serial Converter

The unit works seamlessly within RTIs award-winning Integration Designer programming software for quick and simple setup, and multiple modules can be utilized for virtually unlimited control of serial devices. Two RJ-45 jacks allow standard Cat 5 cabling to be used between the converter and the device being controlled. The ESC-2 is then connected to the local Ethernet network with a standard Cat 5 cable for full two-way control, as if the device were wired directly to the control processor.

From there, the KX2s infrared output port provides direct control of almost any A/V component or lighting system from up to 1,000 feet away. The controllers 12 hard buttons and graphic interface are fully programmable using RTIs Integration Designer software, making it easy for installers to provide their clients with a simple, intuitive control experience.
