Masstech and Volicon Announce Distribution Partnership Masstech to Offer Volicon Observer Broadcast Compliance Logging Products in Conjunction with Media Management Solutions

TORONTO, Canada April 3, 2014 Masstech Group, whose solutions enable media companies to save, share and transform content, today announced a partnership agreement with Volicon, the leading provider of enterprise media intelligence solutions serving the needs of broadcasters, networks, cable operators, and governments worldwide. Masstech and Volicon will begin jointly selling the Volicon Observer Media Intelligence Platform in conjunction with comprehensive Masstech media management solutions.

Masstech solutions using the Volicon Observer Media Intelligence Platform will be on display at the National Association of Broadcasters convention at the Las Vegas convention center, April 7-10, Booth #N5506.

The addition of Volicon's best of breed compliance logging systems to Masstech's product portfolio enables us to provide our customers with a tightly integrated, end-to-end compliance workflow that is unmatched in the industry, said Masstech CEO Joe French. This partnership enables us to integrate compliance logging and monitoring with the overall management of assets and archiving solution for which Masstech is known. In conjunction with the addition of Playbox channel-in-a-box systems to our solutions, we can offer the industry's only single source solution for integrated playout with compliance logging and archiving.

Masstech enables us to present Volicon's Observer Media Intelligence Platform to a wider audience and create new opportunities for our installed base, said Volicon CEO Eli Warsawski. It enables our two companies to work closely together to tightly integrate our solutions within the broader media management operations of a facility.
