Evgeny Subochev to head VSN's Russian branch 30 October 2012VSN is proud to announce the establishment of its new Russian branch office in Moscow. The local team will be in charge of developing the market for the company in Russia itself and the surrounding CIS countries.
Evgeny Subochev has been appointed as Director for this new office. Subochev, formerly General Manager of ProVideo Systems and CEO of Genius Ideas, is an experienced professional in the Media & Entertainment Market. He has been collaborating with VSN since 2005, as ProVideo Systems sold several VSN newsroom and archive solutions in the Russian market while he was heading the company. I feel really excited about this new professional challenge. I truly believe that VSN solutions can fit Russian broadcast and corporate customers' needs. Having seen what VSN are able to do in other regions, I feel I'll be able to bring this knowledge to the Russian speaking countries.' Subochev quoted.
VSN has been monitoring closely the dynamic Russian broadcast market for several years now. We feel we can add value to Russian speaking broadcasters and content providers. Obviously our offer has to be adapted to their specific requirements and explained in their own Russian language. VSN has great expectations in the region and is here to stay.' said Jordi Utiel, VSN President & CEO.
The Russian team and some representatives from VSN HQs will be hosting a 24 sq. mts at the Natexpo Exhibition in Moscow (Nov 6th-8th). VSN will unveil the latest generation MAM and Archive solutions based on its Spider framework, along with the rest of the company's solutions portfolio, including newsroom, automation, scheduling, IP content exchange, etc.
