TMD Appoints ERA As Sole Distributor Of Paragon Archiving In The UK

Technology partnership offers scalable, future-proof archive solution for broadcast, post-production and VFX

London, Salford. 24 August 2015: TMD, a leading provider of digital asset management systems for digital and physical assets, has appointed ERA, the media IT solutions provider, as the first distribution partner for its powerful new archive solution Paragon.

Headquartered in London and with offices in Salford's MediaCityUK, ERA will be responsible for selling, installing and supporting Paragon exclusively in the UK market.

Paragon is TMD's easy-to-use archiving solution that enables broadcasters, content owners and production companies to protect their video, audio and physical assets long term. Using LTFS and powered by TMD's globally renowned Mediaflex technology, it creates a digital content store that is device independent. Archives written to today's LTO tape formats can be migrated to future generations, or even new storage media like holographic stores, without any loss of essence or metadata.
