MH370 The Plane That Disappeared the docuseries diving into Malaysian Airlines flight 370 that disappeared into thin air on 8 March 2014 has officially released today (8 March) Marking nine years since the disapperance.

Before you dive in to the three part docuseries, here's a look at what you need to know and the trailer.

MH470: THE PLANE THAT DISAPPEARED' Limited series MH370 The Plane That Disappeared officially releases on Netflix on 8 March. The docuseries is based on Malaysian Airlines flight 370 that began its route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, but disappeared off the radar. The airplane was carrying 239 passengers and crew members.

According to Netflix's fan site Tudum, the first episode of the docuseries looks into the first few hours and days following the plane's disappearance. This will reportedly include false accusations and conspiracy theories.

IS THE PLANE STILL BEING SEARCHED FOR? The docuseries will fully dive into whether the aircraft is still being searched for. The plane's wing reportedly washed off on the shore off the East African Coast. However, CNN reports that the families of passengers from flight MH370 urged the Malaysian government to allow US seabed exploration firm Ocean Infinity to mount a new search for the missing plane.
