New rating reccord the voice of holland next stop; the live shows 8 November 2010 - Last Friday the third and final Battle episode of Talpas hit show The Voice of Holland firmly continued the ongoing ratings success of the show. The final Battle show attracted 3.2 million viewers at its peak, reaching the highest series market share of 54.2% in the 20-49 target group and no less than a 59.1% share in the female 20-34 section.

During the earlier Blind Auditions four famous Dutch singers - the coaches - personally selected 14 talents. But in the Battle episodes, held in a huge staged boxing arena, their talents went head to head with one of them being directly eliminated each time.

The Battle show came to an end with the exciting final Sing Off, in which the coaches were forced to say goodbye to one more talent each - out of the group that had already made it through - reducing their group from 7 to 6 talents. Those 6 will now make their way to the Live Shows.

On the Live Shows the talents will once again have to prove that they are the best of the best. As the name says, the talents will perform LIVE on national television, accompanied by a big band. Who will make it one step further and who will be voted out? Ultimately theres only one talent that can win the show, and is assured of the biggest kick start in the music industry, becoming... The voice of Holland!
