One Hundred Connected Box Giveaway at NAB Lets Operators Test for Free the Dune HD TV-102AW with Integrated Social TV and Complete SaaS Delivery Platform

LAS VEGAS, NAB SHOW April 5, 2013 Acutek Solution, Beenius and Dune HD have partnered to create an end-to-end OTT, IPTV and VOD content delivery platform for operators. With the Dune HD connected set-top box family and the Acutek Solution SaaS delivery platform running on the progressive Beesmart TV middleware from Beenius, the companies introduce the most cost-effective means for operators to deliver streaming content to consumer TVs in a single fast-to-deploy solution. At NAB this week the companies will give away 100 Dune HD TV-102AW connected set-top boxes pre-configured with the delivery platform, giving operators an out-of-the-box trial for free.

Dune HD will showcase its new range of connected boxes at NAB, which have been specifically developed to enable operators to quickly and seamlessly deploy OTT, IPTV and VOD services to subscribers. The Dune HD boxes are pre-loaded with the Beenius Beesmart interactive TV middleware platform and upgraded Beesmart functions, which let users connect and share their TV experience across social networks with Beesmart, while increasing loyalty, average revenue per user and brand promotion for operators. The Acutek Solution SaaS platform brings operators a complete turnkey solution for delivering content to consumers that dramatically shortens time to market.

All three companies will demonstrate the integrated Dune HD TV-102AW at NAB in the Dune HD booth #SU11614 and the Beenius booth #A508 in the Connected Media World zone. Dune HD will also demonstrate its award-winning Dune HD Connect StickSTB , the world's most compact device for OTT and IPTV content delivery, and the new Dune HD TV-303D, a high performance, full-featured connected set-top box with 3D and OpenGL support. Dune HD will also demonstrate Qarva's FastSwitchTM sub-500ms channel changing technology integrated into its products for IPTV applications. All products in the Dune HD line feature the powerful Sigma Designs chipset for extreme speed and performance, full HD 1080p video, IPTV/VOD/OTT streaming technologies, internal or external storage options and elegant, modern designs.
