Viewers of Mzansi's most-watched soapie Uzalo are in for a surprise this week when their favourite villain Nkunzi gets killed' by Sbu.

NKUNZI IS TAKEN OUT The untouchable villain Nkunzi, who's gotten away with murder for several seasons will be declared dead after Sbu kills' him.

The TVSA August teasers reveal that Sbu will be the one to temporarily get rid of Nkunzi aka Cool Kruger' on Wednesday, 17 August and that he'll be mourned by the KwaMashu residents.

But viewers of the soapie are concerned the show will not survive half a month without the villainous character as the actor Masoja Msiza, who plays the character has never left the show.

This will be the first time that Masoja Msiza's character will temporarily take a break from the show since he joined the show in season three.

Fans of the soapie are also surprised that an amateur like Sbu will get rid of him as he's got bigger enemies and has gotten away with too many murders in the past.

Sbu (Simphiwe Majozi) vowed to kill him when he got released from prison by the Magwazas and has attempted to kill him several times since his release.

UZALO' REACTS TO HIS TEMPORARY EXIT Uzalo's spokesperson Nomfundo Zondi revealed in an interview with Daily Sun that Nkunzi will be gone for a short time.

Masoja is not leaving the show, but his character will start an exciting storyline. Viewers will be stunned by how Nkunzi is taken out and will be eager to find out how he will rise again.

According to Zondi, Sbu will think that Nkunzi is dead but would end up getting a huge surprise.

The Friday 26 August teaser reveals that Sbu will pack up to leave KwaMashu and Nkunzi will vow to get strong and go after his enemy on the last day of August.
