Piers and Susanna are back on Good Morning Britain on Monday this Autumn and a glossy, new trailer has been released celebrating the pair's bold breakfast style.

The promotional campaign is set to air this weekend during the ad breaks for Saturday night's X Factor and ITV's lavish, new Sunday night drama, Vanity Fair.

It shows the duo batting off criticism, with the presenters concluding they had never been called boring ! It will run throughout September on the channel.

Good Morning Britain Editor, Neil Thompson said: We are looking forward to having Piers and Susanna back for Autumn with some big exclusives and agenda setting news for our viewers. As the trailer says, The news doesn't have to be black and white' - watch GMB if you want it in full colour.

Following their summer break, Piers and Susanna return to GMB on Monday September 3 with an exciting lineup of guests. Over the summer, guest presenters including Kate Garraway, Ranvir Singh, Charlotte Hawkins, Adil Ray, Eamonn Holmes, Ben Shephard and Jeremy Kyle have been standing in.

Note to editors: The pair - who have been working together for almost three years - have helped cement the show's viewing figures. The latest viewing figures show the programme is up 9% year to date (weeks 1-34) when compared to the same period last year.

Susanna and Piers are back on Good Morning Britain from Monday 3rd September at 6am on ITV.
