Viewers of Mzansi's most-watched soapie Uzalo are furious that the show will temporarily write out their favourite villainous character Nkunzi, played by actor Masoja Msiza. The show's popular character will not appear on the soapie when one of his enemies temporarily takes him out.

NKUNZI CARRIES THE WHOLE SHOW The TVSA teasers indicate that Nkunzi will be declared dead from 17 August to 30 August and will re-appear on the last day of August when he contacts his former step-daughter Nosipho (Nompilo Maphumulo).

The teasers also indicate that Sbu will be the one to get temporarily get rid of Nkunzi aka Cool Kruger' and that he'll be mourned by the KwaMashu residents.

Viewers are concerned that the show will not survive half a month without the villainous character as they're not pleased with the new family, the Magwazas, and feel that the rest of the cast is just as dull.

This will be the first time that Masoja Msiza's character will temporarily take a break from the show since he joined the show in season three.

Fans of the soapie are also surprised that an amateur like Sbu will get rid of him as he's got bigger enemies and has gotten away with too many murders in the past.

Sbu (Simphiwe Majozi) vowed to kill him when he got released from prison by the Magwazas and has attempted to kill him several times since his release.

The Monday 15 August teaser reads:

Sbu achieves his biggest dream to take Nkunzi out for good, has he succeeded?

The Tuesday 16 August teaser reads:

Nkunzi's life hangs in the balance while Sbu envisions what his future will look like without the Cool Kruger in it.

The Friday 26 August teaser reveals:

Sbu packs up to leave KwaMashu but will he get away in time?

The Wednesday 31 August teaser:

Nkunzi vows to get strong and go after his enemy. Nosipho gets an alarming call from Nkunzi.
