Band Pro to Unveil New S5xFF Expander at IBC 05

Band Pro Munich GmbH (the European branch of Band Pro Film & Digital, Inc.) will unveil the new IB/E Super 35 to Full Frame Expander at this year's IBC show. The highly anticipated S35xFF Expander provides full sensor coverage from any S35 lens (including the 8K Weapon sensor), and promises to be a critical addition to the pro cinematography tool kit.

As always, the latest acquisition technology will be on display at Band Pro's booth. Visitors can demo the 6K RED Dragon, Sony F55 and FS7 cameras, Leica Summicron-C and Summilux-C lenses (including the new 16mm Summilux-C), the Easyrig Vario 5, the latest camera accessories from Movcam, the Odyssey 7Q+ from Convergent Design, wireless solutions from Swit, the new Connex wireless HDMI rig for drone applications from Amimon, and the Nipros fiber optical system.

Band Pro will also showcase the revolutionary new Capinera Dolly by Cinetech designer Armando Grottesi. Weighing less than 200 lbs / 85 kg, and designed to go where other dollies can't, Capinera represents the next generation in camera support.

Additionally, Band Pro will be screening their new 4K short film In Vino Veritas'. Shot on location at the Inglenook Winery (owned by Francis and Eleanor Coppola) the new short was captured in XAVC format on the Sony FS7 using Leica Summicron-C lenses. Filmmaker & Band Pro Senior Technical Consultant, Randy Wedick, will be on hand to answer questions and give an inside look at the tools & techniques used in the making of the film.
