1 Gbit upload speed in the new fixed line Internet portfolio of Telekom

Magyar Telekom significantly rearranges its fixed line Internet service offer. In the new tariff plans introduced in September, customers will be able to enter NOW and enjoy the extended opportunities of the digital world at a higher speed. With the new Net S, Net M, Net L and Net XL tariff plans you can rush on the Telekom network. Moreover, the subscribers of the new tariff plans will not be left without a wifi-capable router.

Today, we do not only consume contents but also create them: we share important moments of our lives in the social media, work from the cloud, stream or our security camera uploads live picture to the Internet. On top of that, we often do that from multiple devices simultaneously, as for example, while we are teleworking, one of our family members is uploading a video to Facebook. Recognizing the demand for higher upload speed, Magyar Telekom created tariff plans Net L 1000/1000 and Net XL 2000/1000, where the 1000Mbit/s upload speed first appears.

Surfing will not be an issue for the subscribers of the Net L 1000/1000 tariff plan, either, as with the 1 gigabit download speed, websites will appear on the display in just a blink of an eye, giant files will become available on the devices in very short time, whereas live broadcasts can be watched over the Internet without the image stuttering. But the optimal choice for the champions of the Internet is the Net XL 2000/1000 tariff plan where anything can be downloaded from the Internet at 2000 Mbit/s*** speed.

In addition to the 30 Mbit/s download speed, the Net M tariff plan offers - depending on the technical conditions - 25 or 75 Mbit/s upload. In the Net S tariff plan - in case of cable and optical coverage - the entry level speed from now on is 150 Mbit/s.

Telekom has new offers also in the area of devices. Subscribers of the new fixed line Internet tariff plans will be given WiFI-capable routers to make the freedom of surfing on the Internet available to everyone. Further benefits will be provided to those willing to explore the opportunities of NOW and join the renewed Magenta 1 introduced in September. Up to two years of sign-on period, they may acquire devices to fully explore Telekom services at a significantly discounted price.

The renewed offer is made accessible by significant optical investments. This year, gigabit-capable Internet is already available for the subscribers in already 872 thousand households and business sites.
