Enjoy exciting Ponggal specials premiering on Astro

Astro premieres more local and international Tamil shows available on TV, Astro GO and On Demand. All Malaysians can also look forward to new Ponggal song, Nalla Kaalam Porandachu available on RAAGA via on-air, social media platforms and the SYOK app.

Customers can enjoy premiering local Ponggal specials including:

The inaugural Ulagam Awards celebrating high-quality local productions and talents live on Astro Vinmeen HD (Ch 202) and Astro GO on 13 January, 9pm.

Vibrant game show, Jaaliyaana Oru Ponggal directed by renowned local filmmaker Karthik Shaamalan and hosted by famous local celebrity Magendran Raman aka Vikadakavi featuring popular talents from Kalyaanam 2 Kaathal season 2 series: Dato Geethanjali G, Yuvaraj Krishnasamy, Pashini Sivakumar, Ravin Rao Santheran, Dishaaleny Jack and more. Jaaliyaana Oru Ponggal premieres on 14 January, 9pm on Astro Vinmeen HD (Ch 202), Astro GO and On Demand.

Fun game show, Attagasa Ponggal directed by local filmmaker Sathish Natarajan and hosted by popular local artists Denes Kumar and Uthaya (RAAGA). The show will present a fun and intense competition between local celebrities including James Devan Arokisamy, Revathy Mariappan, Yuvaraj Krishnasamy and Krithigah Nair. Attagasa Ponggal premieres on 15 January, 9pm on Astro Vaanavil HD (Ch 201), Astro GO and On Demand.

Drama telemovie, Raam Leela Lock Down directed by local talent Daven. R and featuring local artists Kuben and Hemaji in lead roles. Raam Leela Lock Down premieres on 16 January, 9pm on Astro Vaanavil HD (Ch 201), Astro GO and On Demand.

Customers can also look forward to these premieres on 15 January: Singaporean family telemovie, Anbe Aaruyire, premiering at 7pm on Astro Vaanavil HD (Ch 201); as well as comedy debate show, Comedy Mandram starring Madurai Muthu, Thangadurai, Manimegalai and more premiering at 9pm on Astro Vinmeen HD (Ch 202). Customers can also stream via Astro GO and On Demand.

On the radio front, Malaysians can enjoy a special RAAGA Ponggal song Nalla Kaalam Porandachu sung by Kavimaran, Yashini, Jay, Kogu, Suresh, Revathy, Uthaya and Santosh Logandran available on-air, on the SYOK app, on RAAGAs YouTube channel and on Facebook.
