MIX 101.5 Radiothon for Duke Children's Starts TODAY!

This is my favorite event that we do at MIX 101.5. Obviously with my twins spending the first four months of their lives at Duke, Duke Childrens holds a special place in my heart and always will!

The MIX 101.5 Radiothon for Duke Childrens Hospital kicks off today, Tuesday, December 14, 2021!

WRAL-FM Personality Jim Kelly is ready to celebrate the great folks at Duke, to share their stories, and raise funds so their important work can continue:

Last years Radiothon in the midst of COVID, made us change the way we executed Radiothon. We were in the MIX studio instead of the lobby of Duke Childrens and all the interviews we conducted virtually. Everything went really well.

Fast forward a year and we are still dealing with the pandemic, but we are ready. Im very excited. Its great to be able to connect with Duke patients around the world and have them be a part of Radiothon virtually. In the past, if they werent able to make it to the hospital for an interview, we never got to hear from them not anymore! Thanks Covid!

The event is the largest single fundraising event for the hospital each year, raising funds to benefit childrens programs and further support the continuation of excellence within the medical and surgical programs at Duke Childrens.
