Media Global Links to Present Latest IP Video Routing Solutions at IBC 05

Media Global Links Co., Ltd. (MGL), has announced it will present its latest IP video routing systems at IBC 2015 on booth 1.C31.

As a provider of key technology of IP video for broadcasters, Media Links, will present its state-of-the-art IP video routing system at IBC2015.

NetGazer: a network management system which monitors, controls and supervises the individual components of a diverse network of interconnected devices. The solution provides a graphical overview of all the elements and its status within a network and its main focus is to provide operators with an easy to understand display, allowing rapid corrective action in the event of possible issues/alarms with a clear definition of different devices and their service purpose (such as a video transmission). NetGazer takes the traditional Network Management System (NMS) and creates a scalable solution from the simplest network and product control to a fully functional Business Management System (BMS). On-screen dashboards reflect the application and users skills.

Clean Switching: Using Media Links MDX and Coolfire range of products, real time clean video switching will be demonstrated. These solutions have been specifically developed for the demanding needs of the broadcast market and feature a single layer large capacity Ethernet solution for video, audio and data switching/delivery as well as high speed file transfer. The solutions use a high bandwidth; non-blocking managed and scheduled switching element for video signals, as well as Layer 2 switching for data signals in a comprehensive single layer switch solution to ensure signals are switched efficiently and stably.

MDP 3010 IP encoder/decoder for 4K video signal compression. This is a small (only 1U high and half rack width) but highly functional unit that is compatible with the industry standards for transmission over IP networks. This is part of range of products which will be expanded to include encoders in the near future, that will offer users a cost effective way of getting on the first rung of the IP ladder and will be suitable for a variety of remote production uses.
