Adder Announces New Features for ADDERLink INFINITY 4000 Series

Adder Technology, a global leader in connectivity solutions and high performance IP KVM, has today introduced a range of new features to its multi-award winning ADDERLink INFINITY 4000 series (ALIF4000) including support for HDR10 video standards. The latest updates, available to all new and existing customers, have been developed to meet the growing demand for high resolution content creation.

According to Statista (2018), forecasts suggest that the shipments of HDR TV units will have grown by over 450% between 2016 and 2021, and this rapid adoption of UHD screens and monitors is reflected by the rise in consumption of high-definition content. [1]

Media and entertainment professionals, such as color correctors and VFX artists, depend on KVM technology to access their highly flexible workflows that deliver bolder colors, brighter lights and deeper shadows. The latest ALIF4000 updates ensure content can be viewed in the correct color space throughout the entire creative process.

In addition to HDR10 support, Adder is simplifying usability with the introduction of touch control to the ALIF4000 platform.

For those starting their 5K IP KVM journey, the latest updates mean they can build a small, unmanaged, matrix of up to 16 endpoints. As their system evolves, and greater control is required, a management system and additional endpoints can be seamlessly integrated at a time that suits them.
