RT continues to reach over 2 million radio listeners with 2,014,000 or 53% of the Adult 15 population tuning in every week ( 25,000 YoY and 5,000 BoB). RT Radio 1 is still the only station with a weekly reach of over 1 million at 1,390,000 (-6,000 BoB and -14,000 YoY) and RT 2FM has a weekly reach figure of 850,000/22% of Adults 15 (-3,000 BoB and 59,000 YoY). RT lyric fm has 277,000 listeners on a weekly basis (-1,000 BoB and -28,000 YoY).
On the latest JNLR figures for RT radio, Jim Jennings, Director of Content, has said:
"RT continues to reach over two million radio listeners, delivering to 53 percent of the Adult 15 population right across the week. The wide range of programming, across Radio 1, 2FM and lyric fm, means that our audiences continue to tune in in huge numbers. RT continues to deliver the top 20 most-listened-to programmes in the country, and has seen significant gains across weekday and weekends on Radio 1. I m really happy to see 2FM grow its share (BoB) across the weekday and weekend schedule, with lyric fm continuing to maintain a strong audience."

Great news for Morning Ireland and News at One (BoB and YoY)
Remarkable gains for Liveline, and The Ray D'Arcy Show (BoB)
Weekends a hit for Playback, Sunday Miscellany and Saturday Sport (BoB and YoY)
Morning Ireland is the most listened to radio programme in Ireland, with 438,000 listeners ( 7,000 BoB).
Liveline now has 381,000 people tuning in to Joe Duffy on weekdays ( 11,000 BoB), the second most listened to programme in Ireland.
News at One with Aine Lawlor and Claire Byrne has gained 21,000 listeners (YoY) now reaching 346,000.
The Ray D'Arcy Show has moved up the list of top twenty programmes in Ireland to place 15th, with 219,000 listeners ( 14,000 BoB), increasing reach to 6% ( 1% BoB).
The Ryan Tubridy Show has increased listenership by 7,000 BoB, with 311,000.
Today with Sean O'Rourke sees gains of 12,000 BoB, now with a weekday listenership of 307,000.
The Marian Finucane Show reaches 329,000 listeners on Saturday ( 5,000 BoB) and 321,000 on Sunday mornings ( 13,000 BoB).
Drivetime with Mary Wilson has 228,000 listeners, ( 2,000 BoB).
Saturday Sport continues to grow in this book, with 230,000 listeners turning in ( 16,000 BoB and 50,000 YoY). Sunday Sport has also made further gains, with 217,000 listening ( 1,000 BoB and 15,000 YoY).
The Business with Richard Curran has gained 8,000 listeners YoY, with 307,000 tuning in on Saturday mornings.
Other weekend gains see Playback with Marian Richardson rise by 20,000 BoB, now 295,000 listeners and Sunday Miscellany increases listenership by 30,000 BoB to 260,000.

RT 2FM:
Number 1 national station for 15 - 34 s 2FM Hold Top 5 programmes for U35s
Breakfast Republic at 186,000. Retains the number 20 spot in the country and up 8,000 YoY.
The Nicky Byrne Show with Jenny Greene remains static BoB at 148,000 and up 4,000 (YoY).
The Tracy Clifford Show has grown 5,000 listeners (BoB) to 134,000 and 10,000 listeners (YoY).
The Eoghan McDermott Show increases listenership to 144,000, up 8,000 (BoB) and a massive 26,000 (YoY).
Game On grows 1,000 (BoB) and 4,000 listeners (YoY).
The Louise McSharry Show increases 1,000 (BoB) and 3,000 (YoY).
Dan Hegarty - The Alternative is static with 12,000 with an increase of 2,000 (YoY).
Of the figures, Dan Healy, Head of Radio Strategy and RT 2FM remarked:
"Firstly a huge thanks to our audience - this is the sixth survey in a row that 2FM has increased it s share for A15-34. We have seen an increase in 15-34 market share from 11.8% to 14.2%, an increase of 20% since this time last year".
"Our daytime schedule is performing extremely well, we are the number 1 national station for 15 - 34 s. 2FM currently has a 14.2% share for A15-34 (up 2.4pts YoY and 0.6pts BoB)*. The Eoghan McDermott Show has experienced significant growth with the under 35 s. At the weekends we are growing the future with Aifric O'Connell, Stephen Byrne and Emma Power all doing well".
"The 2FM programming teams continue to work hard for the benefit of the audience and their endeavors are clear to see in these results".

RT lyric fm reaches 277,000 Adults weekly and 126,000 Adults 15 every weekday.
The station has a market share of 1.8% for adults 15
Marty in the Morning programme reaches 41,000 adults 15
Niall Carroll s Classical Daytime reaches 28,000 adults 15
The Full Score with Liz Nolan reaches 36,000 adults 15
Lorcan Murray s Classic Drive reaches 44,000 adults 15
The Mystery Train with John Kelly reaches 24,000 adults 15
Movies and Musicals reaches 39,000 adults 15 (Saturday).
The Hamilton Scores reaches 33,000 adults 15 (Saturday)
