
Rodando Pages presents the 16 finalists of the second edition Esta iniciativa, se concibe como cita anual en la que editores y agentes literarios que busquen nuevas v as de explotaci n e ingresos para sus obras, en su primera edici n permiti alcanzar cuatro acuerdos de adaptaci n.
Este lunes 28 de enero se han anunciado las 16 obras literarias seleccionadas como finalistas de la segunda edici n de Rodando P ginas, los libros van a las pantallas, una iniciativa de uni n entre las industrias audiovisual y editorial que en su estreno el pasado a o permiti alcanzar cuatro acuerdos de adaptaci n que se encuentran en fase de desarrollo: Tea Rooms. Mujeres obreras, de Luisa Carn s con Tandem Films; a madre, de Alejandro Palomas con Morena Films; Lamia, de Rayco Pulido tambi n con Morena Films; y The murder of Pythagoras, de Marcos Chicot, cuyos derechos audiovisuales representa Scenic Rights.
Este encuentro pretende crear sinergias naturales entre las industrias audiovisual y editorial para fomentar y promocionar que los cuentos, los tebeos y los libros tengan la posibilidad de adaptarse al lenguaje audiovisual y llevarse a las distintas pantallas.
En esta ocasi n, las 16 obras finalistas han sido seleccionadas entre las 135 presentadas, un 50% m s que en la pasada edici n, por un comit de expertos formado por Fernando Franco (director y guionista), Lola Mayo (guionista), Nina Frese (productora alemana Pandora Film) y Jara Ya ez (periodista Cuadernos de Cine), que las han considerado como las de mayor potencial para ser adaptadas a las pantallas.
Una vez hechos p blicos los t tulos participantes, comienza el periodo de difusi n entre los productores audiovisuales, as como el de asesoramiento personalizado con que contar n los finalistas de cara a la presentaci n p blica de sus obras, que tendr lugar el pr ximo 28 de febrero en la Casa del Lector de Madrid y cuyo plazo de inscripci n, gratuito y hasta completar aforo, se encuentra ya abierto. La presentaci n se complementar con reuniones individuales entre los productores y los titulares de los derechos de adaptaci n y una mesa redonda sobre venta de derechos y adaptaciones literarias.
La selecci n de esta segunda edici n de Rodando P ginas, los libros van a las pantallas est formada por 3 obras literarias infantil y juvenil y 13 novelas de diferentes g neros que firman 11 autoras y 6 autores.
Este evento es una iniciativa impulsada por la Asociaci n Madrile a Audiovisual (AMA) y la Federaci n de Gremios de Editores de Espa a (FGEE), con el apoyo de la Comunidad de Madrid y el Ministerio de Educaci n, Cultura y Deporte, y la colaboraci n de la Casa del Lector y la Fundaci n Germ n S nchez Ruip rez.
