eAfrica changes name to eNolly --

eAfrica , channel 107 on OpenView HD, is getting a new name. From Monday, 1 February the e.tv sister channel will be called enolly .

eNolly will continue to entertain South Africans with content from across Africa. The name Nolly, originates from Nigeria s booming film industry, Nollywood.

We wanted to give a clear meaning and identity to our channel. Viewers know that when they tune in to eNolly , they can expect the best Pan-African entertainment from around the continent, said Monde Twala, managing director for e.tv Channels Division.

eNolly is one of e.tv s four sister channels which have been broadcasting on OpenView HD since October 2013. eNolly , eKasi , Beatlab and eToonz , all form part of e.tv s multi-channel offering.

The channel is for everyone who enjoys content from across the African continent. The lineup includes a variety of dramas, movies and music shows. Viewers can catch shows such as The Benjamins, Shuga, My Mum and I, About to Wed, Soul Sisters and a variety of wall to wall Nollywood features.
