PSL: Pitso Mosimane had a solid go at the match officials [video]

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane was left fuming at the match officials after his side was held to a one-all draw by Bidvest Wits at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday.

The result meant that the defending champions stayed put on seventh place on the log, while the visitors got a little breathing space at the top of the long.

However, the contest was not without its controversy as, with seconds remaining on the clock, the linesman waved away what was deemed a handball by mostly the Sundowns camp after Wits keeper, Darren Keet came out of his line to defend and handled the ball at the edge of the box.

No holding back from the Sundowns coach Although replays showed that the Bafana shot-stopper was marginally inside his territory and well within his rights to use his hand, Mosimane did not have the benefit of a second glance and did not mince his words during his post-match interview.

Remember we're supposed to keep composure, supposed to talk nice, he told Supersport.

If you start talking, disciplinary action. Those who don't like Sundowns say, crybaby. But these things happen every week to us, and we're losing points.

It was not the first time this week that a Mamelodi Sundowns game had ended in controversy, as they had a goal disallowed in their goalless draw against Bloemfontein Celtic, while Bidvest Wits had a penalty awarded in their 2-0 win away to Cape Town City, despite replays showing that goalkeeper Peter Leeuwenburg had not made contact with Scottish striker Simon Murray.

Last week Murray got a penalty, and the goalkeeper didn't touch him. It's a game of football. Wits benefited, they're top of the PSL. Who cares? What are you going to do? Mosimane continued.

It's unbelievable we are losing goals. How do you bounce back when the goals are not allowed.
