Die Berliner Gangster-Saga 4 Blocks geht weiter: TNT Serie, der Seriensender von Turner Deutschland, wird auch die dritte und letzte Staffel gemeinsam mit Wiedemann & Berg Television produzieren. Der Drehstart ist f r Fr hjahr 2019, die Ausstrahlung f r den Winter geplant. Wie schon bei den ersten beiden Staffeln stammt das Konzept von Hanno Hackfort, Bob Konrad und Richard Kropf. Die dritte Staffel wird aus sechs Episoden bestehen, f r die erneut zg r Y ld r m (Chiko, Nur Gott kann mich richten) die Regie bernimmt.

Mit zg r Y ld r m konnten wir daf r einen Regisseur gewinnen, der 4 Blocks schon in der zweiten Staffel mit seiner Handschrift bereichert hat.
Produzent Quirin Berg: Wir sind sehr gl cklich ber den enormen Erfolg von 4 Blocks und die Begeisterung, die uns aus so vielen unterschiedlichen Zielgruppen erreicht. 4 Blocks kam zur richtigen Zeit und gemeinsam mit unseren gro artigen Schauspielern und unserem gro artigen Team werden wir im kommenden Jahr ein w rdiges Finale zur richtigen Zeit liefern!
Eine Woche nach der Erstausstrahlung des Finales hat die zweite Staffel von 4 Blocks bereits mehr als 2,5 Millionen Zuschauer erreicht. Mehr als 1,5 Millionen davon nutzten non-lineare Angebote. Alleine auf Sky, wo die Folgen jeweils direkt nach der Ausstrahlung auf TNT Serie auf Abruf verf gbar waren, erreichte 4 Blocks ber 1,3 Millionen Menschen und ist dort somit nach Zuschauerschnitt pro Episode unter den f nf erfolgreichsten Serien im Jahr 2018. Jeweils am Tag nach der Ausstrahlung standen die Episoden zudem ber EST-Angebote zum Kauf zur Verf gung. Bei iTunes erreichte die Serie Platz 1 (Staffel 1) und 2 (Staffel 2) der meistverkauften Serien des Jahres 2018 und lag somit vor Produktionen wie The Big Bang Theory, Game of Thrones und Westworld.
Hannes Heyelmann, Managing Director Turner Central and Eastern Europe: 4 Blocks zieht immer mehr Fans in seinen Bann. W hrend die erste Staffel einen Monat nach Ende der Ausstrahlung gut 1,5 Mio. Zuschauer erreicht hatte, bertrifft die zweite diese Reichweite schon jetzt um eine Million. Nur wenige Serien schaffen es, mit der zweiten Staffel noch Fans dazu zu gewinnen.
TNT Serie wiederholt Staffel 1 am 31. Dezember ab 14:25 Uhr, Staffel 2 am 31. Dezember und 1. Januar jeweils ab 20:15 Uhr.
4 Blocks feierte im Februar 2017 auf der Berlinale Premiere und war seither auf zahlreichen Festivals weltweit zu sehen. Die Serie erhielt bisher 15 Auszeichnungen, darunter der Grimme-Preis, der Deutsche Fernsehpreis in drei Kategorien, eine Goldene Kamera und sechs Auszeichnungen beim Fernsehpreis der Deutschen Akademie f r Fernsehen (DAFF).
Entwickelt wurde 4 Blocks von Wiedemann & Berg Television, TNT Serie und dem Autoren-Trio Hanno Hackfort, Bob Konrad, Richard Kropf sowie Marvin Kren, der auch die erste Staffel inszenierte. In der zweiten Staffel f hrten Oliver Hirschbiegel (Der Untergang) und zg r Y ld r m Regie. Marvin Kren fungierte neben Quirin Berg und Max Wiedemann sowie auf Senderseite Hannes Heyelmann und Anke Greifeneder als Executive Producer. Co-Executive Producer war Sven Miehe. In der dritten Staffel wird Miehe Executive Producer, das Konzept stammt von Hackfort, Konrad, Kropf und Eckehard Weis, die B cher werden von Hackfort, Fr d ric Hambalek und Niko Schulz-Dornburg geschrieben.
