RTVE delivers diplomas of I call for driving Vision research grants Nathalie Alejandra Rodr guez, Beatriz Guti rrez Caneda and Ana Mar a Silva Ortiz have been recognized for his work on the user experience in the broadcast environment.
Tuesday supporting certificates have been delivered to the three selected projects in the I call for driving Vision RTVEs research grants in the Royal Academy of engineering of Madrid. The RTVE initiative designed to recognize students who developed their official masters studies at Spanish universities, carry out their final work on a topic proposed by the Corporations interest for the audiovisual sector and the community scientific.
In addition, RTVE wants to acknowledge the extraordinary work of University departments and teachers who run end works of Master, that for the majority of students are the first great work of research in their professional careers.
In the case of the call I for the year 2018 / 2019, efforts have focused on the User experience in the broadcast environment.
The Deputy Director of management of the RTVE Innovation Center, Esteban MayoralIt has presented the three selected projects. In the category of Analysis of present or future services offered to the citizensthe award-winning has been Nathalie Alejandra Rodriguez Egas, of the Complutense University of Madrid, for their work Strategy for the future of OTT platforms. In the category of Systems, models and services for measurement, improvement or quality of service analysis, Beatriz Guti rrez Caneda, of the University of Santiago de Compostela, for his work Journalism immersive in Europe: usability of applications and proposal for improvement. And in the category of Usability services, applications or web services, Ana Mar a Silva Ort z, de la Universidad Europea de Madrid, por su trabajo Dise o de bolet n audiovisual interactivo para mejorar la experiencia del usuario m vil de acuerdo a los nuevos h bitos de consumo.
The Act, which have attended academic authorities, European institutions, representatives of the Administration and public and private corporations has been presided over by the President of the Royal Academy of engineering, El as Fereres; the Secretary of State for universities, research, development and innovation, Angeles Heras; the corporate general director of RTVE, Federico Montero; the academician of the RAING Miguel ngel Lagunas and the director of technology strategy and innovation Digital of RTVE, Pere Vila.
Aid, endowed with 10,000 euros are awarded jointly to the alumno-investigador (7,000 euros) and the Department / school or faculty (3,000 euros). The award-winning and the directors of the TFM have collected their certifying diplomas from the hands of the members of the presidential table.
RTVE representatives have announced that, following the success of this call, the second, which will take place during the next academic year, will be led to proposals on the 5G applied to audiovisual technology.
