Barco Residential showcases innovative high-end residential experiences powered by 4K projection at CEDIA 2017 Sacramento, Calif. USA - 31 August 2017 - A world leader in cinema-quality visual entertainment solutions, Barco Residential will present its latest 4K projectors for high-end home theaters and media rooms at this year's CEDIA in San Diego, California from September 7-9.

Barco Residential has developed and manufactured a collection of custom-built home entertainment solutions designed from the ground up with one goal in mind to show the best possible images integrated with architectural design in any setting. At this year's CEDIA, Barco Residential recreates a designer home entertainment environment on the show floor, presenting several home theater applications, innovative media rooms and media art installation. Each multimedia experience showcases Barco's technology leadership and architectural design expertise, featuring high-brightness 4K projection, immersive audio, and high-end screen solutions crafted with the industry's best audio-visual partners.

Class-leading 4K laser projection delivers the pinnacle of movie presentation

Home theater enthusiasts can enjoy cinema-like image quality thanks to Barco Residential's new line-up of class leading projectors, featuring 4K laser technologies. On display in the demo rooms will be the award-winning Balder and Loki projectors, ideal for medium to large screens.

Ultimate Media Solution blends work with play

Barco has re-envisioned the high-end home office to create The Ultimate Media Solution, featuring a large custom-designed and high-resolution screen ideal for work or play programming and applications. Customers can incorporate multiple content sources and freely arrange them on screen for a rich media experience. The intuitive user interface integrates seamlessly with professional video conferencing tools or can be connected via Barco ClickShare.

Premium media art installations

Together with our partner Niio, Barco Residential is leading the way in making premium, immersive media and digital art installations accessible in the home. Barco Residential's custom architectural digital canvases (utilizing its projection and display technologies) and Niio's media art management, distribution and display platform combine to provide private collectors and galleries with truly unique capabilities for displaying cutting-edge digital art forms.

Barco Residential partnerships enhance the experience

In addition to Barco Residential projection, Meridian Audio will be demonstrating their new 271 Digital Theatre Controller in Sound Room #7, which allows technology integrators to provide the best immersive, hi-res audio for home theater, with the ability to integrate any analog or digital AV processor or receiver with Meridian's DSP loudspeakers. In addition, Meridian's high-quality audio will provide the soundtrack for Barco Residential's booth, where visitors will be able to experience a range of Meridian loudspeakers driven by the 218 Zone Controller.

Steinway Lyngdorf will also partner with Barco Residential presenting a custom media room in Booth #2225, featuring Model M speakers powered by the Model P200 surround sound processor. This elegant, high-tech solution, in collaboration with Nexus 21, showcases a custom-designed console table hiding two Model M speakers, which rise silently out of the table at the touch of a button. The set-up transforms a normal living room into a full 5-channel media room with a levitating image, courtesy of a Screen Innovations Zero-G screen, a Barco Residential Loki projector and Nexus 21 Eclipse Projector Drop Down, demonstrating that perfect sound and image can happen anywhere. In addition, Screen Innovations will also be providing a Zero Edge screen in the Barco Residential booth.

To complete the experience, the Barco Residential booth will feature furniture from Poltrona Frau, a leader in top of the range furniture and an international brand name representing design, elegance and perfection of Italian-made products. The furniture on display will include seating from their new Home Cinema collection.

Barco Residential solutions will also be featured throughout the show floor at partner booths, including Screen Innovations, Meridian Audio, Pro Audio Technology, Dynaudio, Alcons and Stewart Filmscreen, who is also showcasing their SnoMatte 100 reference screen material, formulated to meet the strictest color and white field standards. The screen will be paired with the Barco Residential Balder and Orion projection systems in the Barco Residential booth.
