Marvel unveiled the trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on Saturday 23 July at San Diego Comic-Con in California. The upcoming film, directed by Ryan Coogler, will see the people of Wakanda mourning King T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) after his sudden death. Boseman passed away in August 2020 after a private battle with colon cancer. He was 44 years old at the time of his death.

The film is set to be released on 11 November.

BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER' Speaking at the San Diego Comic-Con, Ryan Coogler, who was the brains behind the first Black Panther film, reflected on the 2018 release and praised the late Chadwick Boesman.

It's been five years since I was here. I sat about there and we premiered the first footage from Black Panther 1 and sitting next to me was our T'Challa, the late great Chadwick Boesman, said Coogler as per Variety.
I promise you, I can feel his hand on me right now.
Speaking on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the director said: It goes to new places in Wakanda that we haven't seen before and it goes to new places in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

REMEMBERING CHADWICK BOSEMAN Tobagonian actor Winston Duke, who plays M'Baku in Black Panther, told Variety that the cast felt Chadwick Boseman's presence while filming.
We felt the lack of having him there every single day. He was a very powerful, gentle leader. That didn't need to say much for you to know that he was the leader of the movie, said Duke.
