EBS, the leading full-service provider of EPG data for platforms and channels worldwide, has announced that its providing EPG data and images to Sky for Vice Medias major new 24/7 TV channel VICELAND. A multinational television brand, VICELAND operates under the creative direction of film director Spike Jonze. The eagerly anticipated lifestyle and entertainment channel will take young audiences across the globe. Offering a contemporary take on youth culture; VICELAND features programmes on music, food, drugs, identity, sex, fashion, sports and much more.
EBS is providing Sky with VICELANDs complete catalogue of high-res images and quality metadata for its HD channel (Sky 153) using its sophisticated and bespoke multi-platform, multi-territory, scalable software solution Pawa. Presenting a unique, streamlined, fully integrated data workflow, Pawa enables the scheduling of information for any channel to be restructured to meet the requirements of any platform, providing one point of contact throughout the process with a clear, defined, write-once-publish-many-times workflow.

VICELAND launched in the UK and Ireland on Monday 19th September with a UK Census of over 2,500 18 to 34 year olds documenting what life is like for young people living in Britain in 2016. The channel launched in the US and Canada in February 2016, with VICELAND confirmed to launch in 50 new territories throughout 2016 and 2017, including France, India, the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
