VMware Joins Industrial Internet Consortium to Accelerate Internet of ings in the Enterprise

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Oct 16, 2014) - Today at IoT World Forum, VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW), announced it has joined the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) to further advance and support enterprise Internet of Things (IoT) initiatives. The IIC was founded in 2014 to further development, adoption and wide-spread use of interconnected machines, intelligent analytics and people at work.
