Object Matrix to introduce Disaster Recovery For Free at IBC

Cardiff, Wales, 24th August 2017 - Object Matrix, the leading provider of digital content governance solutions and object storage to the media and entertainment industries, has introduced a new disaster recovery and business continuity deal for new customers. The DR for free' deal will allow new customers to receive a free MatrixStore digital content governance and object storage platform with the purchase of two petabytes of MatrixStore storage.

Disaster recovery has become an important aspect of content storage for the media industry in recent years due to various storage and security vulnerabilities. For example, disaster recovery proved its worth to companies such as MTA after its international archives went up in flames; because the company had a strong disaster recovery plan and a back-up of its files, it was able to continue business as normal.
