Smart Buildings 2017 returns in October, featuring even more innovative products and dynamic solutions.

Industry professionals will unite for the UK's leading integrated built environment technologies event at the NEC in Birmingham from the 10-12th October. TV broadcasters and industry experts George Clarke, Steph McGovern and Tom Dyckhoff will be present on the main stage.

Smart Buildings is one of the nine exciting shows being held as part of UK Construction Week and is dedicated to integrated building technology, access and security systems, and workplace technology.

An enthralling addition to this year's event is the inaugural Voltimum Smart Solutions Awards which takes place on the 11th October where the winners will be announced during a special drinks reception.

The awards will champion manufacturers, wholesalers and installers who lead the way in the smart homes and building market. Categories included are Best Product, Best Manufacturer, Best Wholesaler, Best Installer and Best Newcomer Installer.

Furthermore, another highlight of the show is the Innovation Trail. Attendees will be amongst the first to take an exclusive journey to explore unique and innovative products and solutions which are set to transform the market.

A number of high-profile organisations are supporting the show including the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA), the Building Controls Industry Association (BCIA) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

Asset Mapping, DBD Communications, Luxonic Lighting and Theben are some of those who have already signed up to exhibit at Smart Buildings 2017.

Not only that, the Voltimum Theatre will host insightful seminars on a wide range of topical issues from the buildings industry. Further entertainment is provided in the form of a casino night and the beer and ale festival which gives visitors an ideal chance to network with key industry professionals.
