APTN s New Kids Sci Fi Animated Television series Guardians Evolution picked up for a second season currently in Pre-Production.

Guardians Evolution, a stop motion animated half-hour action adventure series for kids, premiered on the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) Saturday, February 1st 2014 along with the launch of a new companion game and web site that take you inside the lush Guardians Evolution worldscape. The Guardians Evolution game is now available for free on the iTunes App Store.

A cautionary tale, Guardians Evolution television series depicts the adventures of a group of idealistic teens, as they strive to rebuild civilization 41 million years in the future. The series offers high-octane action; sharp, witty characters and a fresh take on the post-apocalyptic genre, with themes of humanism and environmentalism. Join Arimus, Erin, Kaultor, Chema and Valta as they find their way through a new Earth filled with exotic and often dangerous creatures on a quest to save humanity and the planet itself from their nemesis Ambrona's greedy plans.

The Guardians Evolution game takes you on a wild ride through the New Earth landscape. Pilot the Guardians' drop ship to collect the enzymes required to save the rest of humanity. Try to avoid the dangers of this strange new world while taking on giant skulltures, the evil Danton and his fleet of drones.

Guardians Evolution is the latest stop-motion animated TV series from Dennis & Melanie Jackson, the award winning creators of the ground-breaking Gemini Award winning TV series Wapos Bay which ran for five celebrated seasons and an MOW, winning numerous national and international awards. The series is produced by five-time Gemini Award winner Anand Ramayya (Wapos Bay, Who Killed Gandhi?) principal of Karma Film Inc., and Doug Cuthand (Bionic Bannock Boys, Oskayak Down Under, Big Bear, Mywayawin) of Blue Hill Productions.

Digital Media producers Torin Stefanson and Teri Armitage (Seth On Survival, Lupine Life) led the development of the web site and video game, working with acclaimed Ontario game studio Phantom Compass.
