Athens, 2 October 2013. - Cisco today announced that AirFasTickets, a fast-growing international online travel agency, has deployed the Cisco Business Edition 6000 to deliver complete collaboration capabilities from a single, centrally managed platform. Founded in 2009, AirFasTickets arranges travel for millions of people worldwide and holds offices in USA, UK, Germany and Greece. The project was implemented by Algosystems, a Cisco Silver Certified Partner in Greece.

AirFasTickets deployed Cisco Business Edition 6000 across their offices in Greece, United States, UK and Germany, to deliver integrated voice, voicemail, presence, instant messaging and contact center services to their employees. Now, employees can collaborate in a number of ways; from Cisco 8900 and 7900 series IP phones at their desk, or through the Cisco Jabber software client that delivers capabilities such as video, instant messaging, and presence to any user. The solution was installed on Cisco Unified Computing Server (UCS).

The firewall Cisco ASA5515 and Cisco routers were also installed to protect and connect New York headquarters with the Greek, German and UK offices. In addition, with AnyConnect licenses, workers can globally access the network with their device of choice, including laptops, tablets, and smartphones. They can then easily and more securely use the applications and access the information they need to do their jobs.

With Cisco Unified Communications solutions, employees in any branch or remote workspace can securely connect and collaborate across a wide array of communications applications. It will now be possible to stay connected and productive with voice, video, and web conferencing, messaging and mobile applications, anytime, anywhere, using any device. The solution has enabled AirfasTickets to boost employee productivity, reduce IT complexity and drive innovation within their business.
