Verso Live, the company behind the powerful broadcast graphics solution of the same name, that utilises the power of Unreal Engine to bring full control over the creation and playout of broadcast graphics, today announced the appointment of Ben Gunkel as Business Development Manager.
The appointment of Gunkel marks a significant period of growth for Verso Live, in which the company has seen its broadcast graphics solution used annually on almost 400 sports broadcasts, including across top-tier basketball games and golf events. Gunkel brings an incredible breadth of experience and knowledge to Verso Live and is responsible for expanding the company's sports customer base and developing its presence in entertainment programming.
Gunkel began his career in the broadcast industry 15 years ago, spending nearly 11 years at PlayBox Technology Limited as Sales Director and Chief Commercial Officer. Following that, he moved to RED Digital Cinema as a Territory Manager. Alongside managing sales, Gunkel has built an extensive network of industry contacts and is utilising this network to bring new opportunities to Verso Live.
