It's playtime - Boomerang launches The Happos Family Playtime app Monday, February 25, 2019

Turner is expanding its Boomerang franchise - The Happos Family - with the launch of its first dedicated app: The Happos Family Playtime. Kids will now be able to adventure with their favourite Happos through interactive games and activities, all the while exploring the different locations in which the game is set. The Happos Family Playtime app launched internationally on the 21st of February. It is free to download from the App Store and Google Play.
The Happos Family Playtime app offers children aged 4-6 the chance to have fun and play through exploration and simple problem solving. Kids can pick from several different themed locations and adventures, from a dance party, to a journey into space or on a pirate ship. In each area there are a range of exciting games and activities to choose from - from creating music on a DJ set, to building a rocket or searching for treasure - with the hilarious Happos on hand to lead the way!
The app has been designed and tested with kids in mind, with intuitive activities allowing them to dive straight in and play. In addition, it includes a cinema feature where kids can kick back and relax by watching episodes of The Happos Family, as well as songs and other special content.
The Happos Family, a Boomerang Original series, centres around a family of blue hippos that live in a safari park. Although they behave like ordinary hippos during the day, when the gates close, they get up to the silliest, funniest adventures! Their incredible energy and curiosity sometimes lands them in trouble but, no matter what, they will always find a way to solve things by being happy and smiley after all, they're hippos that live for playtime.
The Happos Family gets children playing and using their imagination in different ways - as pirates, dancers, superheroes, astronauts and more. In addition to millions of TV fans, The Happos Family have amassed over 30 million global views on YouTube.
