NMF OPENS NEW TRAINING ACADEMY IN MIAMI, USA, POWERED BY LEADING CAMERA AND UHD HDR WORKFLOW BRANDS

International reseller Nacho Mazzini Family (NMF) (www.nachomf.com) has launched the NMF Training Academy in Miami, Florida, USA. The brand new facility is designed as a center of training excellence and know-how for professionals, industry newcomers and students worldwide involved in high-end digital cinematography as well as UHD HDR workflows from the set into post production through to content delivery of motion pictures, TV and OTT entertainment.

Located in 1,600sq/ft premises, at Accord Studios, 2140 South Dixie Highway, in the Coconut Grove district of Miami, the NMF Training Academy has assimilated the Miami operations of RED's Digital Cinema Store into its new facility, and has also created additional training, demonstration and test showrooms, powered by state-of-the-art UHD HDR processing and display technology from leading brands including Colorfront, Sony, Flanders Scientific, AJA Video Systems and Dolby Vision.

Utilizing these cutting-edge production and post production tools, NMF Training Academy will provide a range of structured, hands-on, practical, in-depth learning and training programs, and participants will be awarded NMF Training Academy certificates on completion of their courses.

Training programs at NMF Training Academy will be hosted by a variety of experienced tutors and industry professionals these include official REDucation events, and color science classes from luminaries such as Bill Feightner, the Academy Award-winning CTO of Colorfront.

The initial set of courses will cover: REDucation training; best practices for on-set workflow, using Colorfront's dailies systems; basic and advanced file-conversion and HDR tuition using Colorfront Transkoder; HDR QC and analysis, using AJA's HDR Image Analyzer in combination with Sony and Flanders Scientific displays; and IMF deliverables for Netflix, Dolby Vision and Amazon.
