NTP Software Object Store and Cloud Connector Joins NetApp StorageGRID to Users and File Data Everywhere

NASHUA, N.H.-(BUSINESS WIRE)- 1 November 2012 -NTP Software today announces that its Object Store and Cloud Connector (NTP Software OSCC) now includes support for NetApp StorageGRID.

NTP Software OSCC enables automatic, policy-based movement of files to and from NetApp StorageGRID. OSCC also includes NTP Software's Right-Click data movement technology which enables end-users to move one or more files on demand. For example, a medical secretary can retrieve from StorageGRID the images and files related to patients being seen that day and return them to the hospital's primary file system.

NTP Software OSCC creates a seamless environment between StorageGRID and an organization's file systems.

In addition, OSCC enables alternative methods of file access. While still maintaining full security, OSCC makes file data on StorageGRID accessible via the web and mobile devices.
