Instant results for U-Ming and Ericsson maritime connected safety solution

Half of U-Ming's fleet has been equipped with the solution, which was implemented in February. Operational efficiency also increased across the equipped vessels.

In addition to collecting information on the vessels' positions, the digital FSM uses connected machine and satellite technology to transfer data from navigational instruments and engine systems to the operation center in near real time. Collision warnings and piracy threat prediction is enabling U-Ming to manage its fleet with the highest safety standard and reduce additional safety incident expenses.
