God has a divine design for you and for me! We were fearfully and wonderfully made when God formed us in our mother's womb (Psalm 139:14). Yet we see so much sickness and sadness around us. So, what went wrong? We came out of alignment with the Word of God !

From the beginning of time, man has disregarded God's word/commands, choosing our will above His. Yet He designed us and knows (far better than we), just what is best for us.

Thankfully, this has not caught God by surprise! He knows that the power of His Word (Christ Himself), can transform and realign us to His original design.

Jesus Christ is the Word By declaring and believing (and hence acting on) His Word, we push the reset button, thereby becoming restored to His original purpose for our lives.

Words are commands Only when the Spirit of God rules and reigns over our mindsets and our mouths, will we be able to walk fully in the wonderful purposes He has planned for our lives.

Part of the beauty of being made in the image of God, is that we have been given the gift of choice .

We can choose to speak His truth over our lives, living in the light of His glory and the inheritance that is ours in Christ, or we can agree with the enemy by speaking death into our lives and circumstances.

14No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.15 See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death, and destruction. 16 For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees, and laws; then you will live and increase, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.

Deuteronomy 30:14-16 (NIV) We must choose not to allow negative thoughts and words to scramble what God wants to accomplish in the earth: His original creation, His divine design.

God's word is the only thing more powerful than His name Christ IS His Word: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1).

As we speak His Word, it is as though the very force of creation itself activates His authority and blessings over our lives, by cutting us off from darkness and bringing us into alignment with His Kingdom of light.

We are now positioned in Him, convinced that we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10).

Our mindset (thoughts/motives) determine our actions (behaviour).

As our minds change by the washing of the water of the word leading to repentance, our sinner mindset is eradicated, so that we no longer walk according to the flesh but in the Spirit (Galatians 5:6).

Through His covenant with us, we are not merely in relationship with Christ, but have become ONE with Him (glued to Him so to speak): 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Thus, we are lifted out of the chaos of our fleshly nature, and instead we can live in the rest/peace (shalom) that is ours in Christ.

This is the exchange purchased for us on the cross. Don't waste it! Don't choose a religious relationship when you can have a living relationship with your Messiah!

Our lives are sacred to God. All that pertains to our Fathers' household is now ours in Christ.

Through His Word, we are continually being changed into what we were created to be - confirmed to His likeness, increasing in the character and nature of God.

And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 3:18 (NIV) PRAYER What a magnificent promise! Thank you, Father for the Sword of your Word: alive and active dividing between bone and marrow until we reflect Christ.

Just as the moon reflects the sun to shine its light, we pray that we too will reflect your Son, bringing light into this dark world, as you continue to redeem and restore all that is broken.

In Jesus name we pray,
