
The international week of cinema de Santander will host the world premiere of The keeper of the cavePor primera vez en casi treinta a os, las c maras pudieron filmar en las cuevas de Altamira para rodar este documental dirigido por Jos Luis L pez Linares, un aut ntico maestro del g nero.Compartir con el mundo una visita excepcional a la cueva de Altamira junto al hombre que mejor la conoc a, es la raz n de ser del documental El guardi n de la cueva, cuyo estreno mundial tendr lugar en la Semana Internacional de Cine de Santander. El director Jos Luis L pez Linares recorre, casi 30 a os despu s de que entrara la ltima c mara, la cueva con un gu a extraordinario: Jos Antonio Lasheras, director del Museo de Altamira durante 25 a os y la persona que mejor conoc a sus secretos.
Lasheras desgrana los misterios del lugar, habla de su descubrimiento, nos gu a por sus t neles y sus salas y nos explica y ense a cada una de las pinturas, obras de arte del Paleol tico que decoran sus paredes y techos. En 2016, mientras se culminaba el rodaje, Jos Antonio falleci en un accidente, lo que convierte esta cinta en una pel cula homenaje, ya no solo a la cueva sino tambi n al guardi n .

Films, abrir la Semana Internacional de Cine de Santander el pr ximo 16 de junio en su estreno mundial. Ser a las 20:30 horas en el Palacio de Festivales, con acceso gratuito hasta completar aforo. Y tras la proyecci n, el director, junto a Longoria, Pilar Fat s (directora de Altamira) y otros invitados al estreno, hablar n ante el p blico asistente sobre la figura de Lasheras y la realizaci n de este largometraje.

en la cueva de Altamira .
Como es natural, el rodaje se produjo en condiciones muy especiales, ya que desde los a os 80 no se permit a la entrada de c maras en la cueva, que
adem s permaneci completamente cerrada al p blico desde 2002 hasta 2014, a o en el que empezaron a permitirse visitas muy limitadas. El equipo
trabaj con batas, guantes y mascarillas, entrando a la cueva acompa ados de dos gu as que supervisaron el tiempo limitado que pod an estar dentro cada
d a: 360 minutos. Adem s, el rodaje utiliz un equipo especial de c maras de alta resoluci n gobernadas por control remoto y luces fr as y de alta
reproducci n crom tica para no producir alteraciones en las condiciones naturales de la cueva.
Lasheras decidi que la primera visita fuese sin c maras. As lo recuerda L pez Linares: La primera sorpresa fue su tama o, porque s lo sab a del
espacio conocido como techo de los pol cromos'. Pero la cueva es en realidad mucho mayor, con espacios de grandes dimensiones, y llena de peque os y maravillosos hallazgos que Jos Antonio conoc a como nadie, por haberlos vivido de cerca desde hac a veinticinco a os. Cuando volvimos con las c maras, Jos Antonio repiti la visita durante dos d as para que pudi ramos grabar algunos fragmentos de la pel cula documental Altamira, el origen del arte. Sin embargo, al ver el material, Lucrecia Bot n, lvaro Longoria y yo pensamos que la experiencia de una visita privada a la cueva de Altamira, de la mano del hombre que mejor la ha conocido, ten a valor en s misma y, sobre todo, merec a ser compartida. Esa es la raz n de ser de El guardi n de la cueva, que esperamos muchas personas puedan disfrutar con ella .
Jos Luis L pez Linares trabaj durante m s de 20 a os como director de fotograf a de alguno de los mejores realizadores espa oles (Saura, Trueba, Ch varri, Mart nez L zaro, Mart n Patino o Erice, entre otros muchos) antes de ponerse al frente de su propia productora, L pez-Li Films, para dirigir documentales. Asaltar los cielos, A prop sito de Bu uel, Extranjeros de s mismos, Un instante en la vida ajena o El pollo, el pez y el cangrejo real, han sido s lo alguno de sus trabajos m s destacados. Con ellos, L pez Linares se revel como un genial realizador y consigui aficionar al p blico espa ol a un g nero que, hasta su llegada, hab a tenido un xito m s que discreto entre los espectadores.
