Virgin Media will distribute TVE International and 24 hours in United Kingdom Televisi n Espa ola cierra tambi n acuerdo con Virgin Media para la distribuci n del canal MIS (Made In Spain), joint venture de la Corporaci n p blica y Video Mercury, en el Reino Unido.
Coincidiendo con la celebraci n en Cannes de MIPCOM, diversas plataformas de televisiones de pago de pa ses de Oriente Medio, de algunos pa ses balc nicos, as como de Ucrania y Kazajist n han mostrado su inter s por distribuir los canales de RTVE TVE Internacional y 24 Horas.
En el continente americano, donde la penetraci n de estos canales es mayor, nuevos cableoperadores de Chile y de Estados Unidos han iniciado conversaciones para incorporarlos en sus paquetes. Por otra parte, en Europa TVE ha cerrado un acuerdo con Virgin Media para iniciar, el pr ximo mes de noviembre, la distribuci n de ambos canales en su plataforma dentro del Reino Unido.
Por otra parte, el canal Star HD ha suscitado un gran inter s en este MIPCOM. Se han cerrado acuerdos con varios pa ses de frica Central y tambi n han mostrado gran inter s distribuidores de otros pa ses como Grecia, Francia, Israel, B lgica, Suiza, Alemania y Marruecos. Este nuevo canal de RTVE, que inici sus emisiones a principios de este a o en el continente americano, donde se recibe v a sat lite y es distribuido por cable, contin a ahora su expansi n por toda Europa y frica, donde se distribuye a trav s de la red de fibra ptica.
Por ltimo, tambi n se ha confirmado el acuerdo con Virgin Media para la distribuci n del canal MIS (Made In Spain) en el Reino Unido. Sigue suscitando gran inter s entre diversos clientes de varios pa ses europeos, con los que se han manteniendo conversaciones que esperamos finalicen en nuevos acuerdos de distribuci n. MIS es un canal creado para dar visibilidad a producciones de origen espa ol y en el que RTVE participa al 50% con Video Mercury
