Partnership Further Expands Global Availability of Wowza Streaming Engine Software on world's leading cloud platforms for rapid scalability and delivery of streaming applications

IBC, Amsterdam Sept. 8, 2016 Wowza Media Systems , the leading software and cloud-based services provider that continuously simplifies the complexities of high-quality video and audio streaming for organizations worldwide, today announced the formal partnership with Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing arm of Alibaba Group (NYSE:BABA), to enable Wowza Streaming Engine software on the Alibaba Cloud platform. The partnership now gives new and existing customers the ability to rapidly scale their video streaming applications across Chinese markets on the Alibaba Cloud's platform.

This partnership provides an excellent opportunity for Wowza's customers to extend their global reach on Alibaba Cloud; and for Alibaba Cloud customers who can now harness the power of live streaming to develop new applications.
