Danny, a Scarlett and Saffire user, graduated as a Sound Engineer from the SAE Institute in London and has gone on to work freelance and set up his own business, recording with a whole host of incredible artists, including Leon Bridges, Jacob Banks, Amber Run, Tom Misch, Jordan Rakei, Rae Morris and Fractures (to name just a few!).
Whilst working in audio, Danny also fell in love with the world of motion picture and since then has built his own business, hybrid between film and audio and currently focusing on music video and content-based productions for different brands and influencers across the creative spectrum.
Working in the audio industry and collaborating with big brands and clients, gear reliability has always been my top priority before stepping into any production - that is why I pick Focusrite interfaces as my main working horse. It has always provided and still continue to provide high quality audio recording signals, simple and efficient workflow and most importantly extremely reliable and durable. Ive used the Focusrite Pro 24 DSP for many years then upgraded to the Focusrite Pro 40 as productions got bigger and bigger. When I'm not on a production, in my office Im using the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2.
We asked Danny what he thought about the interface,
