NetApp, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTAP) today released new details about its NetApp Insight 2015 technical conference, a one-of-a-kind education and networking experience taking place October 12 to 15 in Las Vegas and November 16 to 19 in Berlin.

The company is pleased to announce that the guest speaker is Chris Anderson, CEO of 3D Robotics, a best-selling author, and a former Wired editor-in-chief. Chris is also the founder of DIY Drones, an aerial robotics community with more than 40,000 members. Chris will share his entrepreneurial journey and his perspective on how data and drones inspire us to change the world.

At NetApp Insight in Las Vegas, Attendee Appreciation night will rock to the sounds of Grammy Award winning Train at the Mandalay Bay Beach, sponsored by Cisco and Fujitsu.

Conference Highlights

NetApp Insight brings together IT professionals from customer and partner organizations with NetApp engineers for a deep dive into the trends and technologies shaping the future of storage and data management. This year's theme Building Data Fabric Together, reflects the growing need for expertise and solutions to help organizations seamlessly manage data in the hybrid cloud employing resources that span flash, disk, and the public cloud.

New to NetApp Insight Central this year is the NetApp Incubator: Start-Up Alley. Featuring demos, whiteboard sessions, and interaction with start-up companies, this entrepreneurial zone will bring the Data Fabric to life through a variety of next-generation use cases, including drones, the Internet of Things, mobile, robotics, security, file sharing, financial tech, analytics, bioinformatics, 3D medical rendering, Dev/Ops and orchestration, and more.
