National Equities Exchange and Quotations Aists Zhenhai in Boosting Innovation and Transformation of Enterprises

Recently, Ningbo Mingfeng Testing successfully went public in the National Equities Exchange and Quotations. Going public facilitates access to financing. It not only benefits our business expansion but also forces us to standardize our operation and enhance our management, said a board director of the company, bullish about the prospect.

In the past two years, focused on unleashing economic potential, boosting financing and stimulating industrial transformation, Zhenhai District stirred the enthusiasm in enterprises to get listed and expedited transformation and upgrading in its real economy through various measures like differentiated guidance and financing support. So far, the district has witnessed 10 local firms listed in the National Equities Exchange and Quotations, 1 that passed review, 1 still under review, 11 having signed special contracts and over 30 identified as backup firms. The number of the districts listed companies and the scale of its backup force are both among the top rank in Ningbo.

Each listed company would be rewarded 1 million yuan in a lump sum by the district. Such strong policy support is almost unparalleled in Ningbo. Actually, the reward has risen to 1.2 million yuan now, said by an official in charge from the District Financial Bureau. Till now, eight rounds of rewards have been released to 10 enterprises.

District government has signed agreement with towns and industrial parks to foster the financial market. Besides, it implemented a system setting special supervisors, explored the potential of backup enterprises and accelerated the process of replacing the obsolete by the new. The District Financial Bureau set up mediate platforms at different levels and visited over 100 enterprises totally in 2015. Over 90% of firms participated in training projects and many received parental care from the bureau as a support for them to go public. In 2015, 75% towns and industrial parks achieved their set goals. Among them, four areas including Jiaochuan, Xiepu, Jiulong Lake and Shihua Development Zone put up an extraordinary performance. The distribution of listed companies was diversified, extending to the whole district from within a single industrial park.
